bordering Argentina and Brazil, the astonishing Igauzu falls

I been wanting to see the falls the moment I first heard of their existence! I would often visit google images and be blown away. I feel very blessed that I was able to see them because the very next week, a storm came around and many travelers had to cancel.

Fortunately, I got the best of both worlds. I went from beautiful, sunny sky for the falls to snowy, winter wonderland Patagonia— visiting the glaciers and frozen lake.

This post will be more like a photo gallery + raw footage of the Igauzu or also known as Foz de Igauçu falls.

First, we started with the Argentina side

There are 6 circuits to walk through. The most famous circuit involves Devils Throat, in Spanish it is called, La Garganta del Diablo.

Devils throat, the largest water curtain in the Iguazu network

The walkways were literally right over the water. You could feel the vibrations from the water, the rush from the water, and connect with the water.. 🌊 or be nervous haha

To have an idea of what the pathways looked like.. please see the video above.

as we got closer to Devils throat, you could hear the water rumble
Just peaking the entrance
Full view, just wow 😍

Can’t forget to mention the monkey hopping on another tree with another monkey on its back— this was entering another circuit.

everyone was “ouuing” and in awe

The very next day we visited the falls on Brazil’s side. It was an amazing to view the falls at a far distance.

See the bird soar over the falls

By the end of the walk, you are led to the bottom of the falls where you can get soaked!! Super fun and made quite the experience.

Lastly, it was cool to see the coatis, whom are very well known by humans to stay cautious because they will take your food.. !
